Getting to meet folks like you is one of the many reasons we love coming to work every day.
We just purchased a Flexsteel Leather power reclining sofa and an IMG Leather power recliner chair that has a swivel base. I can say that I've learned my lesson about shopping a discount store and ending up with furniture that only lasted 5 years. Absolute junk! From now on I will be a Gerbers customer as they are local, family owned and have exceptional service, value and selection. If they don't have what you are looking for on the floor they will order what you want. It's worth the wait!

I love the fact that Gerber's Home Furnishings is local to my town and that they have been a reputable business for over 25 years! The selection and quality of their furniture as well as their prices are second to none. If they don't have what you are looking for in stock they will order it. We just received a beautiful leather chair that we special ordered in the leather and color we wanted and it was worth the wait! Give Gerbers a try!

Mr Gerber was very helpful with placing my order. He even called the manufacturer to see if they had discontinued fabric. They had enough and were able complete my order with my fabric choice. Estimated timeline for completion was spot on. Delivery date and time were perfect. Would highly recommend Gerber Furniture to others.

We needed a couch to fit our park model and Flexsteel had a model we liked. They helped us through the fabric selection process which is often difficult- so many colors and options! But the owner listened to our needs and showed us the ones that would work perfectly! When we got it home, it looked beautiful in our space. We shopped American and Ashley and Lazy boy for months. Gerber’s was the only store that had the product size we needed. They made the process effortless. Highly recommend!

This is the third purchase we've made with Gerber, and we couldn't be happier. As we're getting older, our list of requirements seems to be getting longer and longer, but Dave and the folks at Gerber always seem to find just what we need. Yesterday I went shopping for a recliner for my husband, who has mobility issues. I thought I had found the perfect chair, making the purchase and accepting delivery only to find out it wasn't going to work. I called Gerber, explained the situation, and asked if we could have this first chair picked up and instead buy the lift chair I had also considered. They went out of their way to take care of things before the end of the day. In a world where customer service has become almost non-existent. I'm so glad there are still companies like this that go the extra mile. You have two very happy campers here --- thank you :-)

I was looking for England and Flexsteel Furniture and noticed GERBER's Furniture in Mesa sold those brands so off I went. Mary; the store sales lady was amazing. Helped me make the decisions on ordering sofa and two chairs/ottoman and picking out the fabric/leather for my furniture. Loved them all, but one chair came in kind of catawampus. Dave; the owner, came and got the "crooked" chair and ordered me a new one (which looks fabulous). Totally pleased with Gerbers Furniture and their quality of furniture and service. Will be buying my furniture from them in the future!

Very impressed with Gerber's response to a problem I had with a mattress after having it almost a year. Mr Gerber was willing to work with me to make sure I was happy. Turns out I had broken a piece on the frame and when the piece was replaced, the mattress was perfect again. He couldn't have been nicer about it! From my experience, Gerbers has high quality mattresses and furniture and and are the best to work with. I highly recommend shopping there for your home!!!

Fantastic Family owned and operated furniture store! I found this store by searching on line for a store that carries good quality brand names; in the Phoenix area. The website is comprehensive and user friendly! The service via email and in person was beyond exceptional!! (I dealt almost exclusively with Brady- he was prompt to reply, thorough and always remained pleasant-even when I bombarded him with questions!) The sleeper we ended up ordering came in sooner than expected; with zero issues and was installed for us. We are very happy that we found this store! We would absolutely recommend Gerbers Home Furnishings!!

We are so pleased with the sofa, end tables, and dining set we bought in 2012. I lay on the sofa daily and the sofa is exactly the same as when we purchased it ! The cushions are firm and have never sagged. Excellent furniture and customer service.

So far I've loved it. I'm a big supporter of local, independent businesses. One thing to remember is that this isn't Big Lots, American Furniture or Living Spaces. This is NICE furniture. That being said there aren't too many dealers like Gerber's around.If you have a custom home or are looking for GOOD furniture, this is as good dealer. Knowledgeable, attentive and quality. Everything you want for a fine home.

I worked for Gerber's on and off for 4 years. It's a great place and I enjoyed every minute there. They sell quality furniture and take care of all their customers. They are honest, hard working and a family owned business. The family is local to the area and has been doing business in the community for many years now. The owner has an incredible wealth of knowledge about furniture and any product in particular. I highly recommend them!

Moved to Mesa 20 years ago from upstate New York. I was always used to furniture shopping in family owned businesses. Blasdell Furniture, Blasdell NY, Gardner Furniture, Orchard Park, NY, Calvin’s, Amherst, Ny and SAN’s Furniture, Hamburg, NY all compare to Gerber. I looked around at these huge furniture stores, but just wasn’t into that. I’m totally satisfied with the service I received at Gerber. I LOVE my new furniture. I had Flexsteel back East, and now I was able to purchase at Gerber. Their delivery was done by the owner’s son Brady, and he’s an amazing young man.

This was my fourth time in there in the last year, second time buying something. The inventory is surprisingly large, as the store doesn't look that big from the street. Every time I have been in there, the salesperson was Louie, and he is a gem. He knows every item on the floor, can compare one recliner to another and does not hurry you or pressure you. You can buy from the floor or you can order many chairs, sofas, and love seats and choose your fabric. If you order, you have to wait quite awhile due to production problems during the pandemic, but you get exactly what you wanted. Locally owned and it is becoming my go-to place.

After searching and willing to settle on acceptable furniture at two other stores. Glad I Googled furniture stores in Mesa, AZ, that's how I came upon Gerber's. They have a nice selection of furniture that will fit well in apartments and modest scale homes. Gerber's was last on our list to visit, should have been first, would have saved us a lot of time.
